Unhappy Most Embarrassing Moment You Ever Had In Guild Wars

Title says it all. I searched and didn't see another topic like this so I hope I didn't duplicate anything. I'm still trying to think of mine but feel free to share you own .

Once when Brohn's Staff was worth 90k, i was selling it to a Monk. He offered 90k(This was the first big money trader for me ever). I put up the Brohn's Staff and he the 90k. Then he kept cancelling the damn trade, and of course i thought "Omg scammer noob" and began to insult him. I then after a while realized it was my fault because i had more than 10k in inventory.. I was too embarrased to even say sorry..

Got a Gold Sundering Summit Axe of Trollslaying. Not max damage, but had a perfect sundering mod- 20/20. I'm thinking WOOT, sell it, get myself a run from Beacon's to Drok's, get myself some nice armor to play through the rest of the game with, aye?
I whipped out my Expert Salvage Kit on the thing.
I got the Trollslaying bit.

I did that before too with a Rago's Wand. It was like 10 minutes of both of us saying "omgwtfn00bxz0rh4xzomgs0fx" until we finally figured out what was going on.

I got two, you can pick one.

First one...
In random arena I entered a match - and discovered I'd
1) forgot to change attributes from sword to axe, so I was basically wielding a rubber weapon, and...
2) ... brought a capture sigil instead of a resurrection sigil.

Longest match of my life.

After losing I was relieved to get back to RA and change attributes to axe, then enter a new match....and when the match started I remembered that, oh yeah, the rez signet.

Second one:
Was farming Ghial from Market Square (easier run than from Senjis Corner) with two henchmen, and wasn't getting any drops at all. I figured that maybe I'd have more luck with real people, so I advertise a farming/Flesh-Golem capping trip to Ghial. I know the way, done this a dozen times, yadayada. I get a full team of hopefuls, and off we go.

However, what I didn't know, was that about halfway you cross from Bukdek to Skyway - and there's a gate there. Which, as some in the team hadn't done the Vizunah Square mission, was locked, and I'd just wasted 20 minutes of everyones lives.

went into AB as a sword warrior. Someone on my teams like nice sword, and just earlier I was using my Golden phoenix blade, so I say thanks. Only then do I remember that I just SOLD my sword and forgot to grab another so I had no weapon in my inventory! lol

The artwork for Sig of Devo is so similar to Blessed Signet. I rolled a boon prot in a hurry and guess which sig I took?

My guildies were none too amused

I sold my only shirt to the merchant. A shirt with a major vigour rune on it. And did I mention it was my only one?

Going through several map jumps half-naked before rejoining the group and sitting through an akward silence before we got on with what we were doing was not exactly the most praise-worthy of my accomplishments.

When I'd switched from 55 to healing monk to help a group with Villainy,
and we were all the way to the forest trolls before I realized that I
didn't bring a rez and had no points in healing. I just wanted to crawl
under a rock.

his point was, that if you have say 60k in ur inv, any trade with more than 40k will say "canceled" (i think), and it might take u some time to remember that you cant have more than 100k on ur char :P

I once accidentally sold a guildie's Victo's Bulwark to a merchant while I was helping him move some stuff from one account to the other. It took me almost an hour to buy him a new one.

On my first character(a E/R with a pet and flare) I wondered about a week between Old Ascalon and Yak's Bend trying to get to the snowy mountains. And I just couldn't get through. Eventually I discovered there were such things as cooperative missions.

I entered a mission as a monk and everyone was already dead.

Not really embarassing, just..awkward.

I did a UW run with a random monk (and I was the SS/Sv for a change) and I forgot Sympathetic Visage. I felt so stupid. I did have the 11 Illusion Magic though.
